RM Bridge Advanced Wizard Help

Pouring sequence

Pouring sequence dialog is made of two parts: Slab Sections and Stages. First, you divide the deck in slab sections as the pouring sequence requires it and you use them in the second part of stage definition.

Slab Sections

As mentioned above in this part, deck slabs are created by subdividing the entire bridge deck.Per default one Slab Section is present that has the length of the bridge and new entries in the upper table can be added or removed using the buttons in the middle ADD/Insert/Delete.

There are two reference ways of defining a slab section, First one is the option Define sections by bridge  where you have From/ To x/l  and Station Begin/End relative to the total bridge length including begin and end excess length. The second one is Define sections by span where as the name suggest From/To directions are relative to the span length, just double click the section under Span and select the desired span.

Divide Bridge by will automatically split the deck in equal parts, just enter a number in the case and press apply.

In the lower part of the screen a dynamic view of the newly created slab sections is showed and highlighted upon selection in the table above it.

Stages

Stages of the current construction stage variant are listed in the upper table. By the actions defined in each stage a timeframe is defined and given for each of the named stages.

SubS, Abutment, Girder, and Final stage are automatically generated by the program in Construction stages from Analyzer and can't be deleted, just renamed  in the wizard.

Stage 01. is the only stage that can be modified By adding and deleting  new stages so the created slabs in the previous part (Slab Sections) can complete the correct Pouring sequence. After you used Add/Insert/Delete buttons to complete schedule definition double click the Slab sections case and a selection of slabs to be entered will appear.
